The TTEA held it’s Trials for Barbados & Cayman Islands legs of the CEA Junior Jumping Competition on 18th January at Saddle Valley Stables.
Hadley Rahael & Jordanne Brown were the only riders to put forward their names for the 16 & under and the 14 & under respectively so they will represent Trinidad & Tobago at these competitions.
They are requested by the rules of the trials to ride at least two practice rounds. The TTEA hosted a fun jumping competition, in conjuntion with the trials for riders who wished practice their show jumping.
Kelly Camacho on Eye See Dee, aka Rebel, Amy Costelloe on Quiet Bid, aka Freddie, and Anja Taylor on Outa the Blue all started the day at the cross rail level. Anja and Amy moved up to .70m level where they were joined by Jordanne Brown on Miramis, aka MnM, practicing for the CEA JJC.
Jordanne also rode Mr Wings at the .80 and .90m heights going clear both times. Hadley Rahael rode a practice round on MnM at the .80m level and Adelle Stollmeyer had a very nice clear with Audacity to Hope on her second attempt at .90m level.
