Dressage is a true delight to experience as it is defined by the International Equestrian Federation as “the highest expression of horse training” where “horse and rider are expected to perform from memory a series of predetermined movements.”
What is particularly unique about this Dressage League is the format of the competition. Each competitor’s dressage test is video recorded and sent overseas to be judged by a qualified Dressage Judge and for Dressage League 1 the Judge will be Heather Stalker from Florida, USA. In doing this, the TTEA has been able to encourage many young developing riders and horses to have their first experience in the dressage show ring on their home ground and also to assist with lowering the expense of having these esteemed judges for our competitions.
