Over the month of March, sixteen year old Amber Thompson was successful at the Winter Equestrian Festival held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Centre in Wellington, Florida. The Winter Equestrian Festival events cumulate the partnership of horse and rider during the thrills and elegance of show jumping and dressage.
Mounted on Vertigo, an Argentine thoroughbred who is the same age as Ms. Thompson (16 years), and training with Millar Brooke Farm, the pair was awarded ribbons almost every time an entrance was made in the arena, jumping courses with obstacles up to 1.2m in height.
