T&T competed in the CEA Regional Jumping Challenge where top riders are pitted against those of Bermuda, Jamaica, Barbados, Cayman Islands and Antigua.
Riding for Trinidad and Tobago were Jordanne Brown and Natalie Rapier in the 1m category, Sandhya Moll and Isabella Powell in the 0.85m. Chloe Bain, Annabella Hill and Gabrielle Marhue entered the .70m class.
Brown aboard Audacity to Hope and Moll, riding The Sultan, took away the blue ribbons in their respective classes.
The .70m category was hotly contested with Hill and her mount Starlight and Marhue riding Morocco both having two clear rounds. In the end Marhue came first, being just 4 seconds faster. It was Hill’s first attempt at a regional competition.
The team members for 2018 are Jordanne Brown, Sandhya Moll and Gabrielle Marhue.
The RJC brought down the curtains for the T&T Equestrian Association’s competitions for 2018.
