Trinidad and Tobago was well represented in the CEA Dressage Challenge. Scores from the country’s top riders are put against Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Barbados.

Riders hailed from stables in St. Anns, Freeport and Santa Cruz. The T&T riders welcomed internationally acclaimed judge Brenda Minor, who was impressed with the performance of our young riders. There was an intense four day clinic with top clinician Roberta Foster to prepare riders and horses for the annual competition.

The adult team consisted of Gabrielle Marhue and Viking Thunder taking the Championship with 67.27%, Reserve Champion Kim Anja Taylor and Out of the Blue with 65.79% and Patrice Stollmeyer and Claudio with 64.53%. Stollmeyer was also the top rider of the competing nations in the Third level.

In conjuction with the Dressage Challenge, the fourth leg of the TTEA Dressage League was held. The fifth and final dressage show will take place throughout the last weekend in November.
