The Trinidad & Tobago Equestrian Association (TTEA) celebrated its athletes for their hard work and accomplishments throughout 2018. The ceremony was held at San Antonio Farms in Santa Cruz and gave competitors and their families the opportunity to share in their successes.
Merits were given to the athletes who amassed the most points during the year in the disciplines of dressage and show jumping. Among those receiving top honours were adult riders Jordanne Brown, Nicola Chatoor, Gabrielle Marhue,Katherine-Ann Pyke and Anastasia Thiessen. Top riders in the junior category were Chloe Bain, Sianne D’Abreau, Isabella Powell, and Caitlyn Sebastien. Bain from Saddle Valley Stables and Marhue of San Antonio Stables took away the Champion trophies for both Dressage and Show Jumping in their respective classes.
This year the TTEA also recognized the highest scores in Dressage, senior Clare Hobday with 67.50% and junior Annabella Hill with 73.75%.
